Meet Marissa

Hello! I'm Marissa, the Owner and Lead Designer at Posh Designs & Decor. Beyond my professional role, I'm also a devoted wife and mother to two wonderful children, along with our cherished dog Marley.

My journey began 11 years ago when I assisted friends in planning their memorable occasions, spanning from birthdays to bridal showers, and ultimately culminating in my own wedding. This experience fueled my passion, leading me to leave behind the confines of a traditional 9-to-5 job to pursue my dream of guiding others in event design.

My joy lies in crafting stress-free environments for clients, ensuring they can fully immerse themselves in the celebration, be it a private gathering, corporate event, or their wedding day.

When I'm not immersed in creative endeavors, you'll find me spending quality time with my loved ones, experimenting in the kitchen, exploring nature through hikes, traveling, or enhancing our living space through home improvement projects.

I am truly blessed for the life I have and never take it for granite!

Hello! I'm Rachel the Assistant Event Coordinator at Posh Designs & Decor. Being a part of this amazing team allows me to help craft unforgettable experiences for our clients. One of the things I love most about this role is the uniqueness of every event. No two are ever the same, and each brings its own set of challenges and opportunities to get creative and bring our clients’ visions to life.

Working alongside my sister-in-law, Marissa, makes the process even more special. Our collaboration is not only fun and exciting, but it also feels incredibly rewarding to see our combined efforts turn ideas into stunning realities.

When I’m not busy assisting with events, I cherish spending time with my husband and two daughters. Whether we’re enjoying outdoor adventures up north or simply relaxing at home with a movie night, I treasure creating lasting memories with my family.
